Terms of Service

By accessing or using GoalTree (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service without our express permission
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on third-party rights

You retain ownership of all goals, plans, and other content you create within GoalTree. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes other than providing and improving the Service.

GoalTree uses artificial intelligence to generate goal breakdowns, suggestions, and other content. AI-generated content is provided as-is and should be reviewed for accuracy and suitability. We do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or appropriateness of AI-generated suggestions.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

Free accounts have no payment obligations. Paid subscriptions, when available, will be billed according to the plan selected. You may cancel at any time, with access continuing until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoalTree shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
